Gloster House

The Venue Within the house, gardens and woodlands there are many options for the location of the wedding ceremony, drinks reception and wedding dinner, or indeed for smaller dinners or functions on the day before or after the wedding. The house has a number of reception rooms of different sizes. These include a double-height entrance hall and a large first-floor gallery area, all with elaborate decorative plasterwork. The white chapel can be used for ceremonies and as well as the late night disco. In addition there is a garden room with doors to wonderful gardens and courtyards to the east, west and south of the room. This can seat up to 180 guests. The courtyard is lit up at night with lanterns to create a truly magical space. The gardens have Italianate terraces, fountains, lakes and woodlands which provide a magical backdrop for any celebration. Accommodation We have on site accommodation for up to 24 guests, perfect for the bridal party. In the house there are six double ensuite period bedrooms available, with cooked breakfast served each morning in the formal dining room. The accommodation includes an elaborate bridal suite consisting of a large first floor drawing room overlooking the formal gardens and lake with a separate bedroom and two bathrooms. A further four double ensuite bedrooms are available for your guests in the newly renovated Steward’s House and two double bedrooms in the Gate Lodge.
